Registration for 2025-2026 Tyler HEAT basketball is now open!
Cost: $375 (High School), $275 (Middle School)
Early Bird Pricing (through 10/19): $350 (High School), $250 (Middle School)
FAQ - Boy's Basketball
The expectation is a full commitment and attendance to all practices and games.
Junior High Boys - 6-8th Grades
Season
- Late October through end of February
- A few weekend dates included for tournaments/games
- Off weeks of Thanksgiving/Christmas break
- Regionals in DFW end of February
Practices
- Monday/Thursday, but also some Tuesdays in the evenings
- Southside Baptist Church and/or Bullard Southern Baptist Church
Games
- Typically on Monday and/or Thursday, some Tuesday and Friday
- Usually no more than two a week and sometimes less
- Travel involved around East Texas
High School Boys - 9th-12 Grades
Season
- Late October through end of February*
*Varsity attends National Tournament in mid-March, usually every other year (going in 2022)
- Weekend dates in November/December
- Game (varsity) on Monday of Thanksgiving
- Tournament (varsity) during week after Christmas
- District Tournament in DFW end of January
- Regional Tournament in DFW end of February
- National Tournament in Missouri mid-March
Practices
- Monday/Thursday evenings, but also some Tuesdays for the first few weeks of season
- Bullard Southern Baptist Church and/or Southside Baptist Church
Games
- Typically Tuesday and Friday
- Travel involved around East Texas
